Twin sons were born on Jan. 30, 2011 in Raleigh, N.C. to Cheryl Skasko-Shemansik and Jason Shemansik, of Knightdale, N.C. The new parents are both originally from Summit Hill.

Cole Skasko Shemansik was born at 2:29 p.m. He weighed 5 pounds, 9 ounces and measured 19 inches long.Duke Skasko Shemansik was born at 2:30 p.m. He weighed 4 pounds, 14 ounces and measured 18 inches long.Maternal grandparents are Darlene and the late Richard Skasko of Tamaqua.Paternal grandparents are John and Fran Shemansik of Summit Hill.Maternal great-grandparents are Beatrice and the late Michael Martzen of McAdoo, and the late Frank and Mary Skasko of Mahanoy City.Paternal great-grandparents are Frank and the late Martha Juracka of Summit Hill; and the late Joseph and Carmella Shemansik of Mahanoy City.
