The engagement of Debra J. Kehrli, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Solomon, Jim Thorpe, to James J. Evans Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. James Evans, Nesquehoning, has been announced by their parents and the bride-to-be's daughter, Bryanna Kehrli.

The bride-to-be is a 1991 graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School. She is employed at the Hometown Nursing Home.The prospective bridegroom is a 1988 graduate of Panther Valley High School and a 2001 graduate of Johnson College. He is employed at Kovatch Corp. as a machinist.A wedding date has been set for June 4 of this year, followed by a honeymoon in Jamaica.
