Twelve baby chicks hatched, just in time for Easter, at Panther Valley Elementary School. Students in Autumn Barna's third grade classroom greet some of the one day old little peeps the next day. The project is through the cooperation of the 4-H and Penn State University. Holding the chicks are Barna along with Jeffrey Rothermel, Daniel Craig, and Jose Baez. The class followed the incubation and hatching of the chicks and Barna then took them home for additional loving care.
