Jim Thorpe arrests

Jim Thorpe police reported on the following arrests made by officers.

• Stacy Ann Kroculick, 50, of W. Fifth St., Jim Thorpe, has been charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance - marijuana and oxycodone; unlawful possession of a controlled substance - oxycodone, marijuana, methamphetamine and suboxone; unlawful purchase of a controlled substance - methamphetamine and suboxone; and possession of drug paraphernalia. Kroculick allegedly sold numerous drugs during April.• Jeffrey Curtis Rider, 54, homeless, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct for an incident on May 6, at 1:34 p.m. Police were dispatched to the 400 block of School Street for a suspicious male. Upon arrival police encountered Rider, who was acting in an erratic manner and was taken into custody. Police later found a controlled substance in Rider's possession.• Benjamin D. Sasso, 26, of South St., Jim Thorpe, has been charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct for an incident on May 20, at 10:50 p.m. Police were summoned to Sasso's residence for an active domestic incident. Upon arrival police learned that Sasso had punched a woman several times in the face which caused heavy swelling and bleeding. Sasso was placed under arrest and taken to the county prison in Nesquehoning under $25,000, 10 percent bail.
