Underage drinking arrests reported

State police at Lehighton reported making four arrests for underage drinking, plus other citations being issued by troopers.

The underage drinking arrests occurred on Saturday, April 9, about 1:20 a.m .along Mountain View Road, in Polk Township, Monroe County. A traffic stop was made at that location for motor vehicle code violations.At the stop four persons in the vehicle were found to have consumed alclohol under the age of 21.Cited were Sammy Tambasco, 20, of Effort, the driver who was also charged with DUI, Thomas Theodore Nielsen, 20, of Stroudsburg, and two female juveniles, ages 16 and 17.Troopers reported that Heath C. Bullard, 40, of Lehighton, was cited for harassment following an incident that occurred about 10:20 p.m. on Friday, April 8, along Kittatinny Lane, in East Penn Township, Carbon County.Troopers said Bullard and a unnamed victim were involved in a verbal dispute which turned physical. Bullard is alleged to have grabbed the victim and pushed and struck the victim.Troopers said a resident at the Youth Services facility at 1614 Upper Smith Gap Rd., in Saylorsburg, was cited for harassment about 8 a.m. on April 8.He allegedly scratched Damirra Parrish, 18, of Coatesville, another resident at the facility, during an argument.
