Firefighters in the Carbon - Schuylkill County area have battled a second barn fire in as many days. Late Sunday night fire companies from at least five Carbon County communities responded to a structure fire at the intersection of Church Hill Road and SR895 in East Penn Township. When arriving they found a two story stone and wood frame barn fully involved in flames. In a matter of minutes the structure collapsed. Carbon County fire police closed SR895 for three hours as firefighters battled the blaze.
