The body found near the Schuylkill Mall in March has been identified.

State police at Frackville said through their investigation, the county coroner's office and Dr. Richard Bindie, forensic pathologist at the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., Pottsville, it was determined that the body was that of Ronald Louis Coy Sr., 46, of Iowa.Troopers said they believe that Coy was a transient who temporarily set up residence near where his body was discovered. The body was found within the clover leaf at the on ramp for SR61 to Intertstate 81 in Ryan Township, not far from the mall. The badly decomposed body was found on March 19 about 12:25 p.m.
