Fire company and rescue personnel responded to a two vehicle accident 10:01 p.m. Friday at the Five Points intersection in Tamaqua. A witness said, "The Ford Focus went through a red light and collided with the red GMC Sonoma." Reportedly, no one was injured. Borough police and fire peresonnel, fire police, and ambulance all responded. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. The Five Points intersection was closed for a short.
