Leadership. Experience. Opportunity.

Members of the Palmerton Area High School Leo Club prominently displayed each of those traits at a recent art exhibition.

The students showed their hard work and dedication at a community art show at St. John Neumann Regional School, said Karl Pielmeier, public relations, Leo Club.

At that time, Pielmeier said the groups teamed up with the members of the Palmerton Concourse Club as they volunteered at the exhibition.

Pielmeier said the students helped hang artwork, set up displays, and clean up the venue after the show.

"The students were a tremendous help," art show Chairwoman Vinita Horinko said. "We couldn't have done it without them."

Advised by Tammy Muniz, the group plans to continue their volunteer work throughout the school year, Pielmeir said.
