Donna M. Katz marries James D. Kravelk

Nesquehoning Recreation Center was the setting for the June 19 wedding of Donna Marie Katz and James David Kravelk of Nesquehoning. The double ring ceremony was officiated by District Judge Casimir T. Kosciolek, and Robyn Hill was the organist.

The bride was given in marriage by her son, Charles A. Jackson III of Burke, Va. Her daughter, Christine Duddek of Pittston, was the maid of honor. The bride's sister, Mary Gaftney of Toms River, N.J., was the bridesmaid.Michael Kravelk of Nesquehoning, the bridegroom's brother, served as best man. David Katz of Nesquehoning was the attending usher. Charlie Duddek Jr., grandson of the couple, was the ring bearer.Following the ceremony, the newlyweds received family and friends at the Nesquehoning Recreation Center. They then spent their honeymoon in Atlantic City, N.J.The New Mrs. Kravelk is the daughter of Marjorie Gouldner of Lakewood, N.J., and William Prisco of Jackson, N.J. She is a 2007 graduate of Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing and is employed at Lehigh Valley Hospital as a registered nurse. She is also pursuing a bachelor of science degree in American Sign Language Interpreter from Bloomsburg.Mr. Kravelk is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Metro Kravelk. He is a graduate of Panther Valley High School and has been employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for 30 years. He is a baseball coach at Panther Valley High School for 14 years.The couple now reside in Nesquehoning.
