State police at Lehighton have charged a Monroe County woman with making a false rape report.

Troopers said Christeen Denise O'Neill, 46, of Saylorsburg, has been charged with two counts each of false reports, intimidation of witnesses and furnishing alcohol to minors and one count of unsworn falsification.According to troopers O'Neill and her husband, Robert, had a party at their residence in August in which alcohol was served to minors. She and her husband were arrested for having a domestic dispute during the party. The husband then left the residence.Troopers said the party continued and O'Neill allegedly had consensual sex with an adult male guest and later told the man's wife about the sex. O'Neill then assaulted the wife after telling her about the sexual conduct.Later, troopers said, O'Neill fasely reported to them and personnel at the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, that she had been raped and assaulted by the male guest.The charges were filed with District Judge JoLana Krawitz of Stroudsburg.
