14th Land of the Running Water marching band fest set for Oct. 9

On Saturday evening, Oct. 9, at 6:30 p.m. at Tamaqua Area Sports Stadium, the Tamaqua Area "Raider" Band and Band Boosters will present their 14th annual Land of the Running Water Band Adjudication Festival.

Thirteen visiting high school bands will present their fall field show presentations to an appreciative audience of family, friends and outdoor music enthusiasts. Each band will be judged by a panel of present and former music educators and awarded trophies for their participation and excellence.

The event will be held rain or shine.

Tickets are available at the door or from any participating band.

The Pottsville Area High School Marching Band

The Exeter Township High School Marching Band

The Bangor 'Slater' Marching Band

The Southern Lehigh High School Marching Band
