Penn Forest cases being investigated

Two criminal mischief incidents that happened in Penn Forest Township are being investigated by state police at the Fern Ridge barracks.

The first case happened between 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. The victim is Palver Payne, 50, of Albrightsville.

Police said someone threw between 100 and 200 nails in the victim's driveway at 18 Geiger Lane, Valley View Estates.

The second case happened bewteen 11:30 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. The victim is the Valley View Estates Property Owners Association, Albrightsville.

Police said someone spraypainted graffiti onto the roadway at the intersection of Patton Circle and Geiger Lane in the development.

Police did not indicate whether or not the incidents are related.
