Nesquehoning man jailed

A Nesquehoning man was jailed late last week following an incident at his home.

Nesquehoning police reported on July 16 at 9:42 a.m. Office Timothy Wuttke was dispatched to 317 E. Catawissa St. for a domestic incident. Wuttke learned from Dianne McFadden that her son, Michael McFadden, threw a knife at her and was intoxicated. He admitted to consuming a six pack of beer.McFadden was charged with two counts of simple assault and also counts of prohibited offensive weapons and harassment. He was arraigned before District Judge Casimir Kosciolek and committed to the county prison after failing to post $10,000 straight cash bail.
