A Tamaqua man was incarcerated in the Schuylkill County Prison Saturday after police responded to a disturbance call at 517 N. Railroad St.

Tamaqua Police were dispatched to the home at 4:50 p.m. and found Charles S. Williams, 45, of Mahanoy City sitting on a sofa inside the residence. Also in the home was Stacey Kunkel, 31, of 504 Rolling Mill Ave., Tamaqua. Kunkel told officers Williams had been asked to leave the home but refused to do so. Kunkel made the request on behalf of her mother, Linds Yeselavage, 52, of 517 N. Railroad St.According to Kunkel's statement, Williams went to the Yesalavage home to visit the cats. He began drinking alcohol and became verbally abusive. Yesalavage then called her daughter, Kunkel, who told Williams to leave. When he refused, she called police.Patrolman Karl Harig spoke with Williams, who promised to leave and not come back.Williams didn't keep his word, returning to the home at 5:23 p.m. When Kunkel called police again, Williams fled. He was later found near Mahanoy City, taken in to custody and transported to the county prison for video arraignment on charges of defiant trespass, criminal trespass and harassment. Bail was set at $15,000.Unable to post the required ten percent, Williams remained in the prison.
