Mahanoy City man facing charges

Published October 20. 2010 05:00PM

A Mahanoy City man has been cited by Tamaqua police after allegedly stealing from his employer.

Mike Estojak, of Tire Pros, 24 W. Broad St., contacted police on Sept. 27 when he noticed two Fuzion tires were missing from his stock. The tires had been listed as being in the building a week earlier.

The tires were found in the private vehicle of a store employee, William Donella Jr., 33, of 135 W. Pine St., Mahanoy City. Donella claimed he had the tires because he was taking them to show to someone. Store policy is that any such items must be signed out.

Donella was charged with theft by deception and receiving stolen property.
