Burglary probed in Monroe County

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary that took place sometime between 4 p.m. Oct. 10 and 12:45 p.m. Oct. 12 at a home located on Hypsy Gap Road, Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Police believe the burglars entered the home through a dining room window. Once inside they went through the residence, going through closet doors and a door to the enclosed porch. Three windows were open.
