"Don't Let Them Buy This Election!" is the topic for the monthly meeting of the Palmerton Area Democratic Club, Tuesday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. at the Fireline Hotel, Bowmanstown.
Members will focus on energizing the Democratic electorate and reviewing our Get-Out-The-Vote Strategy for the Nov. 2 General Election. Newcomers are welcome.
"In the last mid-term election, decisions about elected officials who make choices and policies that affect all of us were determined by only about one out of three registered voters," said Sarina Berlow, PADC President. "If you are one of those registered Democrats who only votes in Presidential elections, this is not a time to sit on the sidelines."
"Post Election Analysis" by Roy Christman will be the topic of the Nov. 9 meeting.
The area covered by the Club includes Palmerton, Bowmanstown, Towamensing Township and Lower Towamensing Township. Meetings are monthly, the second Tuesday of the month, September to May, 7 p.m. at the Fireline Hotel, Bowmanstown. Newcomers are welcome.
