Two females sought in robbery

Two females are being sought for an armed robbery that occurred at a Schuylkill County motel. State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred at Country Squire Motel located along SR61 in North Manheim Township.

Troopers said Moises R. Arce, 44, of Orwigsburg, told troopers he was entering room 40 at the motel about 10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12, when two females came up behind him and pushed him into the room. As he was being pusehd one of the female suspects stuck the tip of a black handgun into the back of his head.

Once inside the room the two demanded money from Arce while keeping the gun stuck against his head. The two removed Arce's wallet from his right rear pocket. The two then fled in a white sedan bearing a Massachusetts registration plate. Arce was not injured.

The two females were described as follows: One was hispanic, age 26-28, five-feet, six-inches tall, 120 pounds with long black hair; the second a white female, age 22-24, five-feet, four-inches, 130 pounds with long light brown hair.

The wallet is valued at $30 and Arce said it had $450 in cash in it plus various credit cards.
