Meghan Johnson and Jeremy Massey are wed

Bible Baptist Chapel, Grantville, was the setting for the Aug. 7 wedding of Meghan L. Johnson, daughter of Edward and Debra Johnson of Tamaqua, and Jeremy A. Massey, son of Ernest and Susan Massey of Grantville.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Regina Moran as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Allison Martin, Janine Martin, Tiffany Chapman and Loren Collura. Maddie Matrician, daughter of the bride's cousin, served as flower girl.Best man honors were performed by Jordan Massey, brother of the bridegroom. Ushers were Matt Wilcox, Mark Hagen, Leo Harkleroad and Joe Decembrino. Colby Smith, cousin of the bridegroom, served as ring bearer.Ceremonial music was provided by Ryan Knappenberger, cousin of the bride.The newlyweds received family and friends at the Grand Master Ballroom at the Grantville Holiday Inn.The new Mrs. Massey is a 2008 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, earning a bachelor's degree in hospitality management.The groom is a member of the U.S. Air Force, currently stationed at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina, training to be an air traffic controller.The couple is residing in Sumter, S.C.
