How to publish your wedding announcement

To help you compile your wedding, engagement, anniversary or baby's birth information for publication in the TIMES NEWS, forms are available in our main office at 594 Blakeslee Blvd. Drive West, Lehighton, as well as in our satellite offices in Tamaqua, Lansford and Palmerton.

Wedding pictures and stories will be published free of charge up to six months after the wedding. After the six-month deadline, there is a $50 charge to have your wedding appear in the TIMES NEWS.

Photos will be published in black and white for free. If you want your picture to appear in color, there is a $35 fee. Color birth announcements are $15. Scanned pictures or those printed on a home computer cannot be used. To submit a digital photo, the picture must be taken with the camera set at the highest resolution possible.

To check the resolution on your camera, click "Menu" then "Image Size." It should be set to the "L" setting or largest width-to-height ratio setting, ie. 2000 x 3000. E-mail digital photos to The photo should not be resized for transmission.

Suitability of submitted photographs will be determined by our technical staff. Those that do not meet the aforementioned guidelines will be rejected.
