A Carbon County man has been charged in connection with a series of burglaries that occurred in Penn Forest Township.

State police at Fern Ridge said John Larocco, 22, of Albrightsville, is facing multiple charges of burglary and related counts.Troopers said the break-ins occurred in the Towamensing Trails development between Sept. 25 and 26. On Sept. 26 Larocco was taken into custody while a patrol unit was completing a burglary investigation. He was subsequently charged with burglary.During the course of an investigation it was learned that Larocco was involved in several other burglaries. Troopers said he was charged in connection with a total of 19 break-ins.He was arraigned on the charges and is currently in the county prison in Nesquehoning in lieu of bail. Legion Security, employed by the development, assisted troopers in the investigation.
