About a hundred Tamaqua Lions Club Peace Posters done by Tamaqua Elementary and St Jerome Regional School students, ranging from ages 11 to 13, are currently on display at the Tamaqua Chamber of Commerce's gallery located at 114 West Broad St.

This year's theme was Vision of Peace.

Each year's contest consists of an original theme incorporating peace. Participants use a variety of mediums, including charcoal, crayon, pencil and paint, to express the theme. The works created are unique and express the young artists' life experiences and culture.

The posters will remain there until Thursday November 4th. Top prizes for each grade and an overall winner will be announced later this week.
