Three drivers facing DUI counts

Three area drivers are facing driving under the influence (DUI) charges following separate incidents.

On May 19 about 8:49 p.m. along Dairy Road at Beechay Lane, in Lower Towamensing Township, state police at Lehighton stopped a vehicle driven by Justin William Kuneck, 33, of Palmerton, for several motor vehicle code violations. Kuneck was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI, troopers said.On Friday, May 21, about 1:20 a.m. troopers stopped Susan M. McGinty, 47, of Saylorsburg, along Greenzweig Road, at Silver Springs Blvd., in Eldred Township, Monroe County, for motor vehicle code violations. She was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI. Troopers said charges will be filed.On Sunday, May 23, about 11:43 a.m. troopers stopped Richard James Yaple, 32, of Kunkletown, along Hahn's Dairy Road, in Lower Towamensing Township, for several motor vehicle code violations. Yaple was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and was placed under arrest. Troopers said charges will be filed.
