Harleman heading to Misericordia for volleyball
Lehighton's Molly Harleman will continue her academic and volleyball career this fall by attending Misericordia University.
Harleman, the daughter of Coleen and Dale Harleman, has been a member of the Indians' program the last four seasons.
The senior was a First Team all-conference player and made the Second Team all-district squad. The middle and outside hitter was named Lehighton's MVP this past season and was also the Mountain Valley Conference's scholar-athlete for her sport.
"Molly is definitely a strong leader and was one of our captains," said Indian head coach Rachel Quinn. "She played the part of a role model to the younger girls and was involved in a lot of activities while still maintaining her academics. She will be missed but should be a real asset to Misericordia."
Harleman is involved in numerous activities including Student Council, National Honor Society, Red Cross Club, Top 10 %, Tutoring at SS Peter and Paul and Big Sister Program. Harleman was also a member of the track team her freshman and sophomore years.
