The Schuylkill County commissioners informed members of Coaldale Borough Council and school board that they would be willing to share the costs of razing dilapidated buildings in the borough. The county Tax Claim Bureau owns 17 such properties in the community for nonpayment of taxes and the commissioners said they would pay a share. Cited as a problem was the razing of some structures which are half of double homes or are located in a row of houses.
