Colts rout Nativity

Marian had its offense in high gear as it rolled to an easy baseball victory over Nativity.

The Colts close out regular season play today when they host Palmerton. The two teams will also play today in softball.


Marian raced to an early lead and then hung on to post a 14-6 Schuylkill League Division II win over Nativity.

Ryan Gimbi collected two hits, one a double, and knocked in three runs to help the Colts improve to 13-6 overall and end their league schedule with a 12-4 mark.

Damian Gallagher added three hits, one a double, while Scott Nietz added two hits and a pair of RBI. The winners also received two hits and an RBI from Joe Kloap.

For Nativity, Joe Winter had a single, double and RBI.
