On Saturday, May 22nd, the ballroom of the Mauch Chunk Museum on Broadway in Jim Thorpe will be alive with the sounds of music as local talent performs a wide variety of musical numbers.

The proceeds from the show, which is appropriately titled "A Night on the Town", will benefit the Dream Come True organization.

The benefit show, which will feature a number of talented local performers, is the Senior Class Project of Michael Trainer, a past winner of both the Jim Thorpe Idol and Carbon County Idol competitions.

It will feature a variety of music ranging from Broadway to Rock & Roll and everything in between.

Starting time for the show is 6 p.m. and it is expected to run until about 7:30 and a shuttle bus will be available from the train station downtown to the Museum.

Anyone desiring more information about the benefit show can call (570) 325-4104.
