Smokey Bear program held at Locust Lake, outdoor movie follows

Smokey Bear will be at the Locust Lake State Park amphitheater at 7 p.m. Sunday, May 29.

Dave Duffy, fire chief of New England Fire Company, will give a fire prevention and safety prevention followed by a visit from Smokey Bear. Nate and Brutus, his dog, will be on hand to talk about the East Penn Search and Rescue Team. Shine only.

Following the program, there will be an outdoor movie presented, "Creepy Creatures" by National Geographic. Those attending will come fang to fang with everything that slithers, flaps, or attacks in this hair raising festival of fright. The movie is approximately 30 minutes. Shine only.
