Ending 34-year run

A Rush Township icon, The Famini Pharmacy, will close its doors Tuesday. Wednesday it will merge with Rite-Aid Pharmacy in Tamaqua. The pharmacy will end a 34 year run with its owner and operator Thomas Flamini. The business located along Route 309 in Hometown rests adjacent to the recently closed Agosti Food store.
