The Tamaqua Fire Police sponsored two days worth of training classes. The classes were held inside the Citizens Fire Company in Tamaqua and outside. Classes involved detailed traffic control and red light/blue light training. Retired Pennsylvania State Trooper Michael DalPezzo, President of Roadway Safety Consulting, was the trainer for all the classes. Tamaqua Ambulance and Fire Police from Tamaqua, Coaldale, Hometown, and other areas attended the training. All class supplies and food were donated by the Tamaqua Fire Police.
