Weatherly H.S. competes in math event tion

Three Weatherly Area High School students recently competed in the 37th annual Professor John Steiner Gold Mathematical Competition, held at Bucknell University in Lewisburg

One hundred, eighty-seven students competed from 31 schools. As a team, Weatherly earned an Honorable Mention Award. In the individual competition, Christopher Hunt won First Place.

In addition to books for prizes, the team received a plaque which is now in the trophy case at the high school.

The Weatherly team adviser is Katie Leach.
