The church is well-known for its community involvement, including being the spearhead location for the Schuylkill Carbon Marine Corps League's annual Toys For Tots Campaign.

The revitalization tasks included weeding, cleaning, raking, installing new windows, painting, and other projects.

Some of the groups that volunteered were the Schuylkill Carbon Marine Corps League Detachment 626, Lehighton Cub Scouts, Care Net of Carbon County, local AA group, and church members.
