B.A. Badgers win high school Envirothon

The B.A. Badgers from Lehighton Area High School took first place during the 2010 high school Envirothon on Thursday. The sernior team scored 406. Accompanying the team are Jeannie Carl, CCEEC naturalist, left; Lion Judy Dudley, past district governor, third from right; Lion Ed Dudley, past district governor; and Lion Scott Dudley, first vice district governor elect. The Envirothon events are sponsored by area Lions clubs. Other teams that placed are: the Saints of Biodiversity II of Lehighton Area High School, 352; Eco Nuts of Lehighton Area High School, 337.5; and Palmerton 2, 327. The B.A. Badgers now go on to compete in the state Envirothon on May 26.
