Reptiles and insects to study

A reptile and insect presentation and display called Mrs U Zoo Revue was held recently for youth and adults at the Hometown Fire Company. Tri-Valley Biology teacher, Pamela Ulicny, provided the audience with 35 different species of captive bread exotic pets that she keeps in her classroom. The exhibit and educational presentation consisted of lizards, turtles, geckos, snakes, salamanders, roaches, spiders, and other invertebrates. Ulicny routinely visits various organizations showing off the many creatures she has. Above, youth were able to hold snakes, spiders, turtles, and other creatures. Below, Ulicny holds a Sulcata tortoise for Lance Price, 5, to feed. It was also Lance's birthday. Pictured on right holding a Ball Python snake is Jalissa Allen 12 from Hazleton.
