LCCC Donley Center offers training for insurance call center professionals
Lehigh Carbon Community Colleges Donley Center in Allentown will offer Insurance Call Center Professional Training for the Spring semester.
This 180-hour course provides students with the necessary skills and knowledge required to work in the insurance industry in a variety of different capacities, including a call center environment.
Intensive customer service and interpersonal skills, teambuilding techniques, computer skills, multitasking, and communication skills are taught.
Upon successful completion, students will earn 24 pre-licensing credits required to take the Pennsylvania Life, Accident, and Health Insurance exams.
Classes meet Monday through Friday, June 14-July 26, 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m., except for June 28, 29 & 30 when class meets from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. (no classes on July 2 or July 5).
Students must attend a mandatory orientation on Friday, May 21 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. prior to registration.
Qualifying students must meet assessment standards, bring a letter of recommendation from a non-family member, and $10 cash for the PA Criminal Background check. Course number is CAR 404-55, assistance may be available to those who qualify.
