MHS cast meets Jesus Christ, Superstar star

The cast members and crew of Marian Catholic High School's spring musical "Jesus Christ, Superstar" attended a "meet and greet" with Ted Neeley, the original "Jesus" in the blockbuster 1973 movie, at the Scranton Cultural Center on Sunday, March 14. This is Neeley's farewell tour. He has been playing the role of "Jesus" for almost 40 years. Marian Catholic's show will be presented on Friday, April 23 and Saturday, April 24 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 25 at 2 p.m. The show is under the direction of Judy Martini, assistant director, Bob Valente and musical director/orchestra, Michael Brimmer.
