Lenten breakfast held in Summit Hill

St. Paul Lutheran Church, Summit Hill, continued a 35-year tradition on Sunday, March 28, when it held its annual Lenten breakfast. The women of the church invite women from the churches throughout the Panther Valley community to gather for breakfast before Easter. The men of the church prepared and served the breakfast under the supervision of Brenda Breiner. Over 80 women enjoyed the breakfast and then attended the women-led worship in the church. Among the participants from St. Paul's were, front, from left, Donnas Miller, Naarah Snyder, Faye "Dolly" Benninger and Anne Valent; and back, Emma Weaver, Paige Rex, Rev. John Hazel, pastor, Jennifer Vermillion, organist, and Mary Ann Hazel.
