Census forms available at several county sites

For those area residents who have not received a census form in the mail, forms may be obtained at the following sites:

Mahanoy City Public Library, Mondays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Pottsville Free Public Library, Mondays and Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m; and Fridays and Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Also at Redner's Market's in both Shenandoah and Schuylkill Haven.

The U.S. Census Bureau has esablished local Questionnaire Assistance Centers to assist those having questions or need assistance in filling out census forms. Blank census forms are also afailable for those individuals that did not receive one in the mail.

Tamaqua Borough Hall, Mondays, Fridays, 9 a.m. to noon; Shenandoah Seniior Center, American Legion, Shenandoah; Schuylkill Haven Senior Center, Saint John's UCC Church, Schuylkill Haven; Minersville Borough Hall, LaCasita deFamilia, Shenandoah; Ringtown Area Library, Saint Clair Borough Hall, Fairlane Village Mall, Pottsville; Pine Grove Borough Hall, Curves, Tower City; and Tremont Senior Center.
