The Tamaqua Rescue Squad and DARE Committee held their first annual Roast Beef Dinner last weekend to benefit the D.A.R.E. program. Since very little funding is available via government grants, the Tamaqua Rescue Squad and DARE Committee decided on raising funds themselves via a roast beef dinner. Volunteers stated their first roast beef fundraiser was a great success and look forward to next year's dinner.
