Easter concerts

The Bach and Handel Chorale will perform its Easter Concert on Saturday, April 10 at 3 p.m. in St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 21 Race St., Jim Thorpe, under the direction of Randall D. Perry, artistic director.

The Victorian Easter Cantata, "Darkness to Dawn," composed by Fred W. Peace, will open the program. Other inspiring works to be performed include My Jesus, If Ever I Needed You, I'll Always Have A Friend and Christ, the Lord is Risen Today composed by Randall D. Perry. First St. in Lehighton.Ticket purchases include discounts at participating restaurants and merchants for the weekend of the concert.The Bach and Handel Chorale will also perform its Easter Concert on April 18 in Ringtown at 6 p.m. in St. John's Lutheran Church, 112 West Main St.This concert will commemorate the 150th Anniversary Celebration. A free will offering will be taken.
