Theft incidents

State police at Fern Ridge reported on two theft incidents being probed by troopers.

Donna Tucker, White Pine Drive, Saylorsburg, Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, reported someone gained access to a garage on her property and removed a Generac generator. The incident occurred sometime between Friday, March 12, at 10:30 p.m. and Saturday at 10:30 a.m.

Scott Lee Lucha, 31, of Hillside Drive, Saylorsburg, reported someone entered his Kia Sorento while parked at his residence and removed several coins from the center console. The incident occurred sometime between March 12 at 3:30 p.m. and March 13 at 3 p.m.

Troopers also reported that Dennis Anschau, 51, of Saylorsburg, reported he placed a Remington 270 caliber rifle in the back of his pickup turck and it apparently fell out of it. Police believe it fell out somewhere between Sherwood Forest Road and the WaWa store along SR209 in Chestnuthill Township. The incident occurred sometime between 9 p.m. March 11 and 3 p.m. on March 12.
