A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 2:20 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27.

State police at Frackville said Jolene Marie Heiser, 32, of Gilberton, was driving a 2009 GMC Envoy southbound on Main Blvd. (SR339), in Brandonville, East Union Township, when she lost control on the icy roadway. The vehicle went onto the east shoulder and rolled onto the passenger side and struck the front porch of the residence of Teresa Ann Horrox, of 138 Main Blvd. The porch roof to the home collapsed onto the vehicle.

Heiser, who was not injured, was found to be under the influence and was taken to the barracks for a breath test. She will be charged with DUI, troopers added. Damages were disabling to the vehicle and to the front porch and roof to the property.
