Mountain bike taken

Published June 25. 2010 05:00PM

Summit Hill police are looking for a mountain bike that may have been mistakenly taken earlier this week.

According to borough police, sometime between Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning on the west side of the borough, which is the scheduled garbage pickup day, a resident in the 400 block of West Iron Street, had a blue Schwinn 21-speed mountain bike parked outside their residence. During the above-mentioned times, an unknown individual took the bike, possibly because they believed that it was out for trash.

Police are asking that the person who took the bike contact their office at (570) 645-7429.
