Lehighton 912 project to meet at Penn's Peak

Lehighton 912 Project will meet at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 22 at Roadie's Restaurant at Penn's Peak, 325 Maury Road, Jim Thorpe.

This month's guest speaker is Suzann Angelwicz, NRA-ILA grassroots manager. Angelwicz will discuss the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. She is the manager of Political and Legislative Activities for NRA-ILA's Grassroots Division where she promotes political and legislative activities through various NRA programs in support of the right to keep and bear arms.

In addition, she coordinates and conducts the Association's legislative and election workshops, and represents the Association in events and public speaking engagements nationwide. Before coming to NRA she worked as a law clerk for one of the most noted Second Amendment attorneys in the country, Stephen P. Halbrook, gaining invaluable legal experience working on various firearm cases before the courts, including the United States Supreme Court.

She is a Lifetime member of The National Rifle Association and has been an employee at NRA since December 2005.
