Jennifer Elizabeth Sebelin, 18, of Lehighton R. 2, was chosen over 11 other aspirants as the Carbon County Laurel Blossom Festival Queen. The Marian High School graduate was crowned during the coronation ball at Holiday Inn-Lake Harmony. Presenting her with the crown was retiring queen, Jeanette Rossino of Jim Thorpe. First runner-up honors went to Pamela Higgins, 18, of Nesquehoning. An estimated 200 guests attended the coronation ball.
