Eagle Rock Resorts granted extension for subdivision
Eagle Rock Resorts Company, Hazleton, received an extension from the Schuylkill County Planning Commission to complete plans for five subdivisions in East Union Township, in action taken at the planning board's monthly meeting Wednesday evening at the courthouse in Pottsville.
The subdivisions are known as Eagle Rock Western Summit South Phases 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. The reason the extension was needed, according to the developers, is the delay by Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) in approving the plan model. The extension of time to present the final plans for approval by the planning board was to the board's September meeting.
