Six motorists who entered guilty pleas Monday in Schuylkill County court were placed by President Judge William E. Baldwin in the Intermediate Punishment Program (IPP).

They were:Robert John Frye, 53, of 89 Tamaend Road, Quakake, Rush Township, on a driving under the influence (DUI) charge was placed for five years with the first 30 days to be served in the county prison effective June 16, followed by four years and 11 months in IPP with 90 days under house arrest at $12 per day fee for electronic monitoring, pay a fine of $1,500, pay $100 to Substance Abuse Education (SAE) fund, $100 to Catastrophe fund, attend alcohol highway safe driving school, receive intensive outpatient counseling, perform 10 hours community service and driver's license suspended 18 months. Frye was cited by Trooper Arthur Wink on June 27, 2009, on Park Place Road, Mahanoy Township.Daniel John Joy, 51, of 121 New Philadelphia Road, Kaska, Blythe Town, on a DUI charge will serve six months in the IPP with the first 25 days under house arrest with electronic monitoring at a fee of $12 per day, followed by four months and 35 days of probation; pay a fine of $300, pay $100 to SAE fund, $100 to Catastrophe fund, attend alcohol highway safety school, undergo intensive outpatient treatment and driver's license is suspended 12 months. On two summary charges of failing to display a registration plate on his car and failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic was fined $50 plus $100 costs. Joy was cited by Trooper Scott Grochowski last June in New Philadelphia.Michael J. Dulina, 28, of 27 E. Grand St., rear, McAdoo, DUI was placed in the IPP for six months with the first 25 days under house arrest at $12 per day followed by four months and 35 days probation, pay a fine of $300, pay $100 to SAE fund, $100 to Catastrophe fund, receive outpatient counseling, perform 10 hours community service and license suspended 12 months. Dulina was cited by Officer Scott Kramer, Kline Township police, on May 2, 2009.Alex A. Chivinski, 24, Schuylkill Haven, DUI charge was placed in the IPP for six months with the first 25 days under house arrest with a $12 daily fee, followed by four months and 35 days probation; pay a fine of $300, pay $100 to SAE fund, $109 to Catastrophe fund, complete schooling, receive intenstive outpatient counseling, pay $60 to Schuylkill Medical Center and license suspended 12 days. Chivinski was cited by Patrolman Robert Romanchik, New Castle Township police, last June 27. On a second DUI charge he must serve 10 days in the county prison and then five months and 20 days on probation, pay a fine of $750, $60 to Schuylkill Medical Center and his license is suspended an additional 12 months. On a summary charge of careless driving was fined $25 plus $50 costs. He was cited by Patrolman Paul Olson, Pottsville police, last Aug. 22.Crystal Gail Kreinbrook, 31, Shoemakersville, on a DUI charge was placed in the IPP for six months with the first 15 days under house arrest followed by four months and 45 days on probation, pay a fine of $1,000, pay $300 to SAE fund, $50 to Catastrophe fund, complete schooling and outpatient counseling, make restitution of $60 to Schuylkill Medical Center and license suspended 12 months. On a summary charge of driving while operating privileges were suspended was fined $200 plus $50 costs.Jeremy Linn Turner, 24, Slatington, on a DUI charge was placed in the IPP for six months with the first 10 days spent in the county prison beginning June 28 followed by five months and 20 days on probation, pay a fine of $750, pay $100 to SAE fund, $100 to Catastrophe fund, compelte schooling and outpatient counseling, make restitution of $75 to Rush Township and driver's license suspended 12 months. Turner was cited by Patrolman Thomas Rodgers, Tamaqua police last Dec. 19 on SR309 south.Each defendant must also pay court costs and a $50 per month supervisoin fee while in the program.
