Mr. and Mrs. Robert Halenar, Summit Hill, recently marked their 25th wedding anniversary.

They were married Sept. 3, 1988, in the former St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Lansford, by the Rev. Thomas Derzack.Mrs. Halenar is the former Beth Ann Marcinko, daughter of Elizabeth (Kutzko) Marcinko of Lansford and the late Paul Marcinko Jr.She is employed by the Lehigh Valley Health Network, Cedar Crest Campus at Lehigh Neuropsychiatry working as a licensed professional counselor.Her husband is the son of the late John and Jeanette (Carl) Halenar of Summit Hill.He is employed in the Carbon County maintenance department, where he maintains the courthouse and surrounding grounds.He was previously employed by Halenar General Contractors for over 30 years where he worked with his brothers in the family business.The couple worships at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Summit Hill, where they are active volunteers with the parish festival, decorating committee, and other parish events.They are the parents of two children, Nathan, at home, and an employee of the Pottsville Area School District, and Kristen, a senior nursing major at Pennsylvania State University, University Park Campus.To celebrate this milestone, the family traveled to Fort Myers Beach, Fla. for a celebratory getaway.
