Church gives to graduate

A recent brunch held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lansford honored Panther Valley High School graduate, Thomas Kerr a member of the congregation. New members Donna and Ed Dorman, who moved to Lansford from Mayfair were also honored. The PVHS graduate was presented with a $100 scholarship from the church to further his education. He will be attending Penn State, Hazleton to pursue a degree in physical therapy. Seated are Doris Kelley and Kirsten Tout, recording secretary. Standing are Joan Tout, Deborah Bamford, financial secretary; Martha Tirpak, council president; Kerr, and Pastor John Keiter, Jr.
